Marula Community Chrome (MCC) is the community-owned company that holds a 50% share in Makgomo Chrome, a unique and innovative chrome processing project where the holder of the chrome rights has elected to preferentially share the proceeds of the project to benefit local communities.

Using its share of the proceeds generated from Makgomo Chrome, MCC is entrusted with the responsibility of identifying and delivering developmental projects across the six host communities, being Magabaneng, Mohlala (Driekop), Nareng Thokwane, Roka Mashishi, Tswako Mohlala, and Bakoni Manyaka.

MCC works closely with the various stakeholders, including recognised community representatives and traditional leadership to ensure that the projects are directly and purposefully addressing the needs of the six communities.
